As part of the project HumanityHub<\/em>, a comprehensive psychosocial support program was successfully implemented. In addition to its core activities, the program also included the development of Croatian language skills<\/strong>. It was designed to strengthen participants\u2019 capacities through an integrated approach that combines personal development, language empowerment, and the encouragement of economic independence.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The main goal of the program was to support participants in their process of social and economic integration. Through structured workshops and guided activities, participants developed psychosocial skills, built self-confidence, and acquired the knowledge necessary for active participation in everyday life within the local community<\/strong>. Special emphasis was placed on developing communication skills in the Croatian language, further empowering participants to navigate various personal and professional situations.<\/p>\n

Alongside the formal part of the program, informal activities were also organized, playing an important role in both the learning process and social integration<\/strong>. One of the most notable segments included group lunches in Zagreb restaurants, where participants had the opportunity to experience Croatian gastronomic traditions in a relaxed and engaging environment. By tasting traditional dishes such as pa\u0161ticada, zagorski \u0161trukli<\/em>, and other local specialties, participants simultaneously learned about cultural customs while improving their language skills through everyday communication.<\/p>\n

Conversations were held in Croatian, covering topics such as: What is Croatian cuisine like? Are there traditional restaurants in Zagreb? What do Croats typically eat? How do you order food in Croatian? And what are the customs regarding tipping? This approach enabled participants to apply their knowledge in a safe and supportive setting while also developing a sense of belonging within the community.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The informal component of the program further encouraged connection among participants, the exchange of experiences, and the creation of new social networks. Through these activities, participants were able to experience genuine inclusion in the community, which represents a key step in the integration process<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The psychosocial support program within the HumanityHub project once again confirmed the importance of a holistic approach that combines education, practical experience, and social support. Such an approach not only contributes to the personal development of participants but also lays the foundation for their long-term social and economic inclusion.<\/p>\n
